Puffin Cottage a typical Scottish cottage, is located
in the heart of the fishing village of Pittenweem.
It is only two hundred yards from the active harbour,
which is the home of the East Neuk fishing fleet
and the increasingly popular Pittenweem
Arts Festival. Close to Pittenweem lies the
May Isle, which is home to forty thousand puffins
(hence the name) and if you time it right you can
take one of the boat trips to visit the May Isle
and see for yourself.
This traditional Scottish terraced cottage which
was completely rebuilt five years ago is an ideal
location from which to sample the atmosphere of
the village.
Puffin
Cottage will comfortably sleep four people and contains
a sitting room, dining / kitchen, two bedrooms (one
twin, one double) and bathroom with shower over
bath. Gas central heating and electric feature fire.
A small enclosed rear garden and on street
parking. A true taste of Scotland and its hospitality.
Pittenweem is a very traditional fishing village
in the East Neuk with its quaint little wynds leading
to the shore and harbour. The local fishing boats
land daily during the week and is quite a sight
to see. Other attractions are the beaches, art galleries
and during the month of August the Pittenweem Arts
Festival and fireworks display is a must.
